The Nexus Sync is taking Nexus performance to the next level. Weighing in at 365 grams, the Sync is 25 grams lighter than the Nexus Geo, Vapor FlyLite, and Supreme Ultrasonic. This stick offers players ultimate versatility and the ability to execute any move from anywhere on the ice.
ER Spine technology is designed for effortless shooting. The unique 5-sided shape contours to the player’s hands, maximizing feel and control.
ACL 2.0 shaft technology reduces weight to 365g, while TeXtreme in the blade optimizes energy flow with every play.
The all-new Connectech technology features a responsive rubber layer throughout the entire stick for enhanced puck feel.
When purchasing a new stick, several factors should be considered. One key element is the kick point. The right kick point will enhance your shot performance and positively impact your game. If you are unsure which kick point suits you best, visit your local Pure Hockey store for an accurate assessment.
The Nexus Sync replaces the Nexus Geo as Bauer’s elite, top-tier stick. The reduced weight is a major upgrade achieved through the innovative ACL 2.0 technology, which utilizes thinner, premium carbon fiber layers inside the stick. These layers are strategically stacked to lighten the stick while maintaining durability.
Inherited from the Geo stick, ER Spine technology features a revolutionary 5-sided shaft shape, removing excess carbon fiber in the key loading zone. This innovation makes loading energy into the stick easier, resulting in a faster, more controlled release in all situations.
The Connect Tech Technology and Asymmetrical TeXtreme technology are integrated throughout the stick. Connect Tech extends through the entire shaft, enhancing puck feel. The ultra-lightweight carbon fiber layers further reduce weight, while the Monocomp one-piece construction provides consistency and excellent durability by minimizing shaft wall defects.
In the blade, Bauer utilizes Omni-Core blade technology, originally found in the Geo model. Omni-Core features a carbon fiber bridge fused into lightweight foam with an added response layer. The Connect Tech dampens vibrations, further improving puck feel.
Bauer has also extended the length of its senior sticks. The 77 and 87 flex sticks now measure 62 inches (previously 60 inches), while the 70 flex remains at 60 inches. Intermediate sticks have also been lengthened—previously 57 inches for the 55 and 65 flex, they now measure 58 inches.
Don't worry about the additional length! Cutting the sticks back down to 60 inches (or 58 inches for intermediate models) will maintain their respective flex ratings. For example, a player accustomed to a 60-inch, 77 flex stick can simply trim 2 inches off the new 62-inch model to retain the same feel as before.
Bauer combines its most trusted features with cutting-edge technology to create a professional-level stick. The Bauer Nexus Sync is an excellent choice for any player seeking a lightweight stick engineered for an effortless release.
