The CCM Extreme Flex E5.9 SR Blocker continues the legacy of the popular Extreme Flex line. The fifth E-Flex rendition from CCM brings new technologies to a winning design. A mobile FlexMotion cuff in a lightweight, balanced package makes the E5.9 Blocker a great option for goalies. External Material The CCM E5.9 blocker is wrapped in CCM’s proprietary SpeedSkin material. SpeedSkin on a blocker doesn’t have the same slide benefit as it does on pads. However, it is a lighter material than traditional Jenpro, and keeps the material consistent throughout a goalie’s entire setup. Internal Construction The EFlex E5.9 features a lightweight blocking board that is made up of heat-laminated dual-density and PE foam. This blocker board constriction gives goalies optimal rebound control and a balanced feel.
